    Key Responsibilities:

    · Installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead line systems from 11kV to 400kV

    ·  Ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations

    ·  Working as part of a skilled team for various clients from Distribution network operators to Transmission owners

    What you'll be doing

    • To install, build and refurbish overhead power lines at all voltages from 11kV up to 400kV

    • Maintain and develop new skills and competencies in accordance with Egredi / Centurion policies, standards and client requirements

    • Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures
      of Egredi / Centurion and its clients

    • Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient
      implementation of operations

    • Maintain site safety at all times and complete daily risk assessments where
      required

    • Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments

    • Ensure that accidents and near misses are suitably reported

    • Complete all work to Egredi / Centurion high quality standards

  • We have opportunities across all voltages from 11kV to 400kV working on wooden poles and lattice towers. The projects will be dependent on the individuals prior experience and preferences.

    The right candidate(s) will manage/supervise all OHL activities including the installation, replacement, diversion and reinforcement works

    Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

    • Survey work sites (prior, during and after) inc. final re-measures to include and report back to Project Managers

    • Plan works in field of expertise.

    • Effective planning and utilisation of staff.

    • preview work areas prior to works commencing.

    • Compile job packs for setting teams to work.

    • Carry out forward planning to identify future resource needs.

    • Compiling and submitting Permits/PAIs.

    • Setting to work of staff and ensuring compliance against procedures.

    • Proactively managing H&S issues & concerns, working closely with Project Management, Design and Site Management staff so that an accident and incident free culture is maintained.

    • Maintain awareness of H&S policy and rules and keep up to date on changes that impact your role.

    • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations.

     What we’re looking for:

    • Motivate Field staff to deliver high quality work in a consistent manner.

    • Ensure all site documentation is compiled and returned to the project manager.

    • Work closely with Project Managers to develop project programmes to fully meet customer requirements.

    • Mentor and guide staff members.

    • Be creative in finding solutions to resource / schedule problems to maintain project programme.

    • Proactively report resource concerns at appropriate times in project programme to avoid short notice problems.

    • Inform PM of SOW changes or variations in designs especially if it has a financial impact.

    As the Project Manager you will have overall accountability for successful project delivery including planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out on both Distribution and Transmission Projects.

    Our projects are site-based / UK Wide however we welcome flexible working. This role is available full-time hybrid working.

    You will be accountable for:

    • Hold periodic project reviews with site teams and clients.

    • Ensure reports provide relevant information to enable decisions to be made which are informed, cost effective and in line with overall business strategy

    • Prepare and present both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders

    • Ability to interrogate designs and challenge inputs and deliverables

    • Forecast cost and resource requirements.

    • Ensure a relentless focus on Health and Safety & keep up to date with changes in legislation

    • Carry out Safety & Environmental audits.

    • Lead Accident/Incident Investigations and monitor effectiveness of the H&S Management System and implement improvement actions

    • Lead on reviewing RAMS and accepting subcontractor RAMS

    • Develop H&S plans and ensure it is treated as a live document and ensure sufficiency and competency of workforce

    • Coordinate and manage all project activities and internal functions and identify and control resource to deliver works

    • Develop high performing teams, promote a pipeline of talent and assist with internal training through supporting, guiding, motivating and empowering the team. Using the resources available through training, mentoring and performance management.

    • Lead risk/opportunity reviews, ownership of the Risk Register and recommend/implement changes. Log and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved at delegated level of authority

    • Support and contribute with tenders and new work applications.
